It’s another amazing edition of our local community calendar, and this time we’re ushering in the start to fall with as much gusto as those blustery autumn winds. Check out the fun family friendly events, gather up your friends and dates, and let’s get this seasonal party started! It’s time to celebrate fall, y’all, in all its wonderful splendor. On October 2nd in Sands Point Preserve from 12PM to 45PM is the Autumn Fest 2022 event with family friendly outdoor activities and fun for kids of all ages!
October 6th is a great time to get in touch with your artistic side at Teatro Yerbabruja in Bay Shore from 7PM to 10PM for a wonderful “Life Model Drawing Studio” session.
Friday October 7th through Monday October 10th is the Long Island Fall Festival in Huntington, with plenty of exciting opportunities to enjoy great food, wonderful games, rides, and local vendors.
On October 7th at the Suffolk County Community College from 2PM to 6PM is the “Long Island Manufacturing Day 2022” event, an annual event showcasing the importance of manufacturing and industry careers.
October 8th in Dix Hills at the Art League of Long Island is the “Sculpture Exhibition: Time’s Running Out” with a unique exhibition of digital photographic artwork, trash and upcycled sculpture, and exploring the contrast between the two. (It runs for a few more days this month, too!)
On October 8th in Centereach at the Bethel Hobbs Community farm starting at 11AM is the Annual Fall Harvest Festival with vendors, food trucks, bouncy houses, tractor rides and so much more family friendly fun!
Looking for a fun night out? Check out the “Paint Nite: Rainy Autumn STroll” with Makers Craft Events at Port Jeff Bowl in Jefferson Station on October 8th from 5PM to 7PM.
On October 8th from 1PM to 4PM at Far Rockaway Farms in Queens is the Children’s Harvest Festival for a fun day out with the family.
On Sunday October 9th from 12PM to 4PM at the Greater Ridgewood Historical Society in Queens, Head over to the Vander Ende-Onderdonk House for the Annual Harvest Festival.
On October 15th at the First Baptist Church in Riverhead is the Harvest Festival and Cookoff with the Butterfly Effect Project sponsored community gathering and 2nd Annual Festival event.
In West Babylon at the West Babylon Public Library on OCtober 18th, enjoy a wonderful evening from 6:45PM to 8:30PM for “Paint Night: Fall Flowers” and create an artwork with autumnal magic.
On October 20th at The Vineyards at Aquebogue in Riverhead on Thursday from 6PM to 9PM for the “Heart of the Harvest” event
On October 22nd in Brooklyn at Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 6 you’ll enjoy an incredible day of fun with arts and crafts, storytelling, lawn games, food and drink and so much more at the Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Harvest Festival 2022!
On October 29th in Queens at the Socrates Sculpture Park, come on down for the amazing Halloween Harvest Festival from 12PM to 5PM for a day filled with fall centered fun!
