The Thurman club maintains the snowmobile trails in the northeastern region of Lake George with trails that run from Lake Luzerne to Speculator. The South Warren Snowmobile Club is a not-for-profit organization with over 750 members who maintain scenic trails and offer updated trail maps on each of the stops on their route. Lake Vanare Snowmobile Tours offer one hour or two hour guided tours to the scenic areas of Prospect Mountain on either single or double seated snowmobiles.
